¬†Project Background Sam Shogren worked with school leadership, district personnel, and volunteers to develop and launch a new parent-teacher¬†organization FRISB or Friends of the International School of Beaverton for the opening of this new school in Beaverton, Oregon. The Beaverton School Board decided in 2008 to expand the options available to students and families by repurposing a renovated and expanded former elementary school into the District's only dedicated ISB certified school for both middle school and high school students. Successful Accreditation!

We are pleased to announce that Journeys of the Heart Adoption Services located in Hillsboro, Oregon joined a distinguished group of Hague Convention certified international adoption agencies on Febuary 29th! (see for a complete list) Sam has worked with the Journey's staff and Board for the past 14 months on the Agency's challange of facing a dual accreditation crisis.
